MISSION STATEMENT

The name of the corporation is HISTORIC ANDERSON, INC. The corporation is a non-profit corporation. The period of its duration is perpetual. The purposes for which the corporation is organized are:

• A. To preserve and maintain the history, architecture and natural environment of the community of Anderson, Grimes County, Texas;


• B. To promote the general, educational, cultural and economic welfare of the public through the preservation of the living character of Anderson, and through the restoration, preservation and protection of the old, historic and architecturally worthy structures, which impart a distinct aspect to the community of Anderson and which serve as visible reminders of the history and cultural heritage of the community, the Republic, the State, and the Nation.
