Please join us May 12 for a public celebration!

Join us and visit Texas' past at Historic Anderson on May 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the ​Historic Anderson Park, located on the corner of CR 1774 and Main Street!

The Boggess Store, typical of an early Texas general mercantile, will be open for tours. Souvenir t-shirts, mugs, and books will be offered for sale to raise funds for preserving the Steinhagen Log Cabin next to the Boggess Store.

​The Robert Raines Chapter of the DAR and members of Historic Anderson will offer refreshments for donations to the Log Cabin project.

​This day's events are in conjunction with the Fanthorp Inn "Stagecoach Days" and tours of the Inn. Fanthorp Inn is a Texas State Park.
